I cry when I write to you.
Removing some of the foil from the chocolate,
It is bittersweet.
I cry when I think of you.
Tears of joy.
Tears of love.
The gentle rain of early Spring.
I cry when I write to you.
My soul reaching out to you.
Empathy for your pain;
Or is it mine?
I cry when I hold you,
Feeling you tremble inside,
Feeling your love deep inside.
I cry when I kiss you.
Salty gentle passion.
Gentle passion.
When I am with you,
There is nothing else.
We are solitude together.
The scent of you lingers,
Your perfume, your body.
Your essence lingers here with me.
I wish you were here with me.
I cry when I think of you.
