Tenderness

I would give you an entire night of tenderness,
If only you would ask.
To unleash the passion,
But not the lust.
To touch,
To hold,
To comfort and love.
Love as a verb.
Love as a gift.
To reach out —communicate,
Feel the warmth.
To know my spirit.
To intertwine our souls.
To touch,
To hold,
To comfort and love.
Dangerous and beautiful,
Time is the enemy,
Time is the ally,
The double-edged sword.
I want you to have the tenderness,
To be softly and luxuriantly bathed in love.
Do not fear my spirit.
It is real and unreal,
And I am harmless.
