Who Am I?

I am a man.
I am a woman.
I am a man, a white man.
I feel deep within me there is a man of no color,
With one heritage
Common with all of Man and the universe.
I am a woman, a white woman.

Common with all women and the universe.
We are all one.
There is shame within me.
I do penance according to the demands of my heart and soul.
I do penance according to my God.
I listen.
I hear.
I feel.
The compassion within my heart demands that I give.
I give as I can.
I do not feel guilt if it is not enough.
It is never enough.
The compassion within my heart cannot ignore but love.
The compassion within me demands that I love unconditionally.
It is never enough.
I do not feel guilt if it is not enough.
It can never be enough...
I want to show love,
To demonstrate honour.
I am intent on love.
I want to feel love,
To demonstrate holiness.
I am intent on true love.
The most difficult person for me to forgive is me.
The most difficult person for me to love is me.
The past is here with me.
I remember and seek truth.
The past has made me...
I remember and want to be restored.
The past cannot change.
I will remember the past and from it I will see what is seed and what is chaff.
I cannot change yesterday...
I will remember and from it I have felt what is true and what is false.
Each day is a new day.
Each day is a new opportunity to demonstrate that we are One in the spirit,
That love is the bond.
Each day is a blessing,
And the opportunity to share with mankind that we are one in the spirit,
And with a Holy bond of love.
