Born: Tommy Lynn Hunter in Dallas, Texas. Tom began in music much the same way many young artists do, by emulating all the rockers of the day. With early influences such as Jimi Hendrix, The Yardbirds, The Rolling Stones, and of course The Beatles, Tom couldn't help but end up on the right track. Musically his formative years were incredibly serendipitous. As a teenager in the 60's, his garage band contemporaries and running buddies were such talents as Jimmie Vaughan (The Chessmen and later The Fabulous Thunderbirds), Johnny Nitzinger, William Williams, and Jamie Herndon (The Briks and later The Strawberry Alarm Clock) to name but a few. Tom currently resides in Saginaw, Texas.
Tom is a former member and award winner (Intrumentalist of the year - 1999 and 2000, Album of the Year Square the Deal - 1999, Band of the Year Hunter/Brown Band - 2000) Lone Star Music Association, and founding member of the Texarkana Band (lead/rhythm guitar, lead vocal). Performed weekly for 11 months in the Texas Club at World Famous, Billy Bob's Texas in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
